New FSHost Server Online
« on: Tue, 27 Jan 2009, 09:58:42 »
Per the discussions and announcement at Sunday's gathering, the new FSHost Server is online.

The address of the server appears in the "Fly-in Server Status" box on the right. Those running FS9 will need to take note of the new IP address (which is 94.102.150.114). Those running FSX Host Client can keep using the name of the host but should make sure that their computer translates this name to the correct address by clicking on the "bfsg.game-host.org" link - all being well, you should get a web page... The password to connect has not changed.

Apart from that, nothing else has changed. Let's see how we get on on Thursday shall we? Of course, anyone who wants to try it before that would be more than welcome.

Update...

I've just restored the "user100.html" page that has been on Pete's server to the new server (I spotted that someone tried to access it this afternoon and it wasn't there).

For an interesting view when people are flying, click here.
