FSInn - Changing Call Signs
« on: Wed, 11 Feb 2009, 10:49:42 »
Those of you who regularly change your Call Sign, should ensure that you delete the field "Net Specific Call Sign", found by going to the FSINN settings page then to the Network page.
Expand this to reveal the different network connections and select your BRISTOL network connection. Then on the window that has opened to the right find the "Network Specific Call Sign" field and ensure that this is left empty, otherwise your call sign will always be what you put into this field.
This fine if you always fly with the same call sign, but those in the Heavies, are always changing callsign depending on where we are and what scenario we are flying in.By keeping this field empty we are able to change our call sign "On the Fly so to speak.

Thanks to Norman for finding this little nugget and reporting it.
