hi
just for info:-
for anyone who fancies upgrading their hard drives to the much faster SSDs.
having looked at payware clone software like norton ghost and true image
the local PC shop told me of this site that they use.
www.minitool.com
download and install the free partition software program.
then follow simple instructions that will enable you to clone your new SSD as a complete copy of your old hard drive.
then its simply fit the SSD into the old hard drive slot and watch your load times drop.
after antivirus scanning to make sure its ok ive used it twice on laptops now. bought 2x 240gb SSDs at £35 each.
(last one booted from power on button to login screen in 8 seconds.!)
my main pc SSD currently loads xplane or p3d v3 in under 1 minute.
my next purchase will be another SSD for my scenery hard drive.

Not come across that minitool.com site so when doing this for myself and others I've used the free version of
Macrium Reflect
. Always nice to have alternatives though.
