Fantastic morning, thanks folks.  Great to catch up with those I gassed with.  Apologies to those I didn't get to chat with.  A few hours away from everyday life and the most flight sim related stuff I've done in months.  Great fun.

Should be able to make next month's meeting too :)

Framerates in XP on the laptop were < 20 on the Rift but the fact that I could look around at all was a bonus.  For what it is, I'm very impressed with that little laptop.  It's exceeded expectations to the point where I might consider a laptop as my next flight sim rig if I can spec it well.  Being able to run laptop RAM at > 2400 would be helpful though.  It won't be until at least the next generation of nVidia cards though by which time I may hang fire for the next gen CPUs, by which time... ;)
