Hello Regional pilots
A reminder about the group-
The group was setup 2 years ago primarily to learn to fly the Majestic DASH8-Q400 regional aircraft.
All published flight plans are based on DASH8-Q400 performance and typical operation, with from time to time, scenarios setup to test pilots ability to use the D8-Q400 systems. Flights are scheduled for Monday evenings starting at 7pm with flights typically around 1hour in duration and the fly-in finishing around 9pm.
We try to incorporate as much ATC as we can and most members are happy to have a go in a friendly environment.
There has been requests from pilots wishing to join in with different aircraft and therefore the group has decided to welcome any aircraft to the fly-in within the regional aircraft type range.
examples would be (but not limited to)
RJ-100
A318/19
ATR72
737
EMB-145
The flights planned will continue to be built around typical DASH8 operations and pilots flying other aircraft will appreciate that it is their responsibility to ensure that their aircraft choice is suitable for the flight. "
As the group has grown and to reach a wider audience, I have asked for our own sub forum for us to discuss aspects of our fly-ins and to make announcements.
Thanks
Phil

A good summary of the Group's activities. Thank you Phil.
As a FS9 user, I cannot use the Majestic Dash 8. so will continue to use an appropriate aircraft type for the scenario.

Quality wings do a nice BAe146/Avro RJ series aircraft for FS9. It's on offer at the moment.
Perfect for this group and plenty of engines for you to play with Ollie.
