GA Flight for Tuesday 08.04.2014
ENTO - Torp. to ENBR – Flesland.
Flight plan courtesy of Peter Norton. Distance 264nm so a fastish plane is recommended.

We have been hired tonight to distribute a Norwegian national delicacy - tins of Surströmming  – Many consider this cargo to be Very Dangerous especially in a confined space as we will be in, should a tin ever become damaged. The smell emitted from a tin of Surströmming is said to be so over powering that it could cause you to start hallucinating so take care and fly carefully.

Weekly GA Flights will now be on Tuesdays instead of Thursdays, with maybe an extra one occasionally.

What a good idea Mike and I hope that some of the Heavies will try their hand at GA flying. As I discovered recently, it is not as easy as you might think, despite the rather casual attitude to air traffic control.  ::)

I shall eagerly await to see how many (extra) GA-fliers we gain...or lose...from our regulars by changing to Tuesdays.  Likewise, it may be interesting just how many extra Heavies they now gain from our change.   £1 anybody?  ;)

Is that a 1600 BST departure? Or is it a time hack for a 1900 BST (or thereabouts) departure?

The same thought occurred to me, I had concluded that 16:00 BST was far too soon for some and had decided to turn up for a 19:00 BST departure. Could somebody clarify?
