I say chaps,  I wonder if it is possible to carry out some re-enactments of famous airwars with in this group using combat aircraft from the second world war.

ie, Spitfires versus Meschersmitts, P40's versus Zero's, Mustang's versus Folke Wulf's

And many more different types of aircraft. For surely pitting one aircraft against another in flight is a form of combat anyway. I am not just saying go out and shoot each other from the sky, but to put an aircraft's flying form against anothers without having to revert to the baser forms of combat.   I would love to know if an aircraft from that era could perform as well as some of the pilots 'from the day' say these types of aircraft handled.

The online veraion of Il-2 1946 would do any of these combinations and more.
